This study day is a beginner’s course for healthcare professionals interested in interpreting musculoskeletal MRI.
Aim
The study day aims to provide participants with a practical, stimulating, step by step guide on interpretation of musculoskeletal MRI:

Course Synopsis
This CPD will educate practitioners performing obstetric ultrasound in the application of uterine artery and middle cerebral artery (MCA) Doppler’s to allow introduction of these into practice to support the Saving Babies’ Lives care bundle version 2, which was designed to support providers, commissioners and professionals to take action to reduce stillbirths.
Aims
• Understanding the reason behind implementation of additional Doppler studies
• Understanding the use of different Doppler studies and their impact on pregnancies at risk of perinatal morbidity and mortality

• Doppler principles and it’s application in obstetric ultrasound
• The benefits of obtaining MCA and Uterine Artery Dopplers
• Techniques in producing an MCA and uterine artery Doppler
• How to interpret Doppler results
