Help raise awareness of radiography clearing opportunities

12 August, 2019

With A-level results due this Thursday, 15 October, Society members are being asked to share information to encourage students to pursue a career in radiography through the clearing process.

Health Education England (HEE) are working with Health Careers and the Office for Students SIHED programme to support and encourage school leavers that it’s not too late to get a university place on an AHP course.

The Health Careers’ website features the support available, links to information about AHP roles, clearing information and resources, including the WOW Show films.

SoR members are asked to share and endorse radiography-related content from Health Careers social media accounts, sharing the Health Careers webpage, and using the #clearingAHP hashtag.

Beverley Harden, AHP lead for HEE, said, “I would like to ask for your professional, organisational and personal support as mums, dads, carers, friends, aunties, uncles or neighbours of young people getting their A-level results next week who could be interested in a fabulous career as an AHP.”
